These are the homeschooling materials I currently use:
Preschool:
Kindergarten and up:
For Phonics/English/Spelling/ Writing:
Queen Homeschool is a simple curriculum I use, and yet teaches what I feel my girls need to know in this subject. It teaches reading, nouns, verbs, writing skills, etc. It’s what we really like! 🙂
For Phonics, I like to use Phonics Pathway in addition to the Language Arts mentioned above. While Language Lessons {Queen Homeschool} does teach phonics, I felt that my girls needed something to add to it, so we read through this book as well and it has really boosted their reading ability – just something I found with good reviews on Amazon:
For math, I use Math U See from Pre-K through 2nd grade.
From 3rd grade up, I like Teaching Textbooks.
For art:
I LOVE the Apologia Science! It is the most fun Science we have ever done! Some of the textbooks may use a different version of the Bible for a copywork page, and since I am KJV, I just don’t do the copywork pages because they get a lot of copywork practice in Language Lessons: I have had a few people say the Botany book is boring with Apologia Science, so I’m not sure if I’ll use that book – it may just be their opinion – but the other books are great! I always hated Science in school, but this is fun 🙂
