One of the things I really enjoy as a relaxing past time is reading.  I have learned valuable information about health and wellness this way.  Being that I am a visual learner, however, I also really enjoy watching videos that show me how to do something.  I’ve been very much enjoying this DVD series on homesteading.  If you’re interested in homesteading and living a more self-sufficient life, these videos are very helpful!  Sometimes when I read how to do some of these things, I’m thinking…huh?  But to actually see it done is very helpful for me!  There are three volumes~

Homesteading for Beginners Volume 1~
This video explains:
*Raised bed gardening, harvesting and preserving
*Raising chickens and processing them
*Egg layers
*Milking a cow
*Making butter, kefir and cheese
*Bread baking
*Meal preparation
Homesteading for Beginners Volume 2~
This covers:
* Maple syrup
* Sprouting
* Kefir bread
* Soup canning
* Apple cider vinegar
* Yogurt making
* Root cellaring
…and much more
And last but not least….
Homesteading for Beginners Volume 3~

This video includes:
  • Canning Meat
  • Canning Potatoes
  • Canning Tomatoes
  • Homemade Noodles
  • Biscuits
  • Buttermilk and Ricotta Cheese
  • Recipes using the canned meat
  • . . . and much more!

To order your own videos and share in this family’s homesteading journey, click below:

Homesteading for Beginners Volume 3

I may not be able to practice all of these homesteading tips right now, but any little change to save our family money and live healthier is stepping in the right direction, and gaining knowledge to use later is invaluable! I hope you enjoy these videos as much as I do and begin living a more self-sufficient life! 🙂

    I’ve been wanting these DVDs for a while! I love watching their videos on YouTube. I have to wait a bit though, a little too costly for me now. 🙁
