*This giveaway is now closed.  The winner was Susan H.  Congratulations!*
The scents in this picture are Cinnamon Orange, Honey & Oats, (2) Lemony Lavender Castile, Sweet Mint & Tea Tree Rosemary & Clay.  This last soap I mentioned with clay contains bentonite clay, which is a powerful healing clay, great for the face and body.  Have I mentioned that I love these healthy ingredients? πŸ™‚

I always squeal with delight when I open my mailbox to the aroma of Hen & Chicks Soap!  I used to have a bad opinion of handmade soap in the past from sniffing a few here and there at stores or local shops, and gasping at the ingredients that were in them.  Why would I want to pay $6 for a bar of soap that stinks and has harmful chemicals in it?  Then I discovered Hen& Chicks soap.  I saw on her website all the ingredients listed, and loved that she uses organic and essential oils – everything is safe and healthy! …And I love the smell!…And I love the price!
Hen & Chicks has been a sponsor of mine for several months now, and I’ve enjoyed her support and friendship.  She’s having a sale through the end of January on all her soaps, so be sure to take advantage of it!  Her soaps are always gone quickly too!  These are the kinds and current count she has as I type this~

Lemony Lavender Castile – 3 bars left

Star Anise – 4 bars left

Blueberry Butter – 4 bars left

Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Mint – 6 bars left

*I am always amazed at the combinations this talented lady comes up with!*
*Click here to visit her website and view her soaps*

Using handmade soap is so beneficial because it hasn’t been stripped of its natural glycerin like store-bought soaps (they use this glycerin to make lotion! Hmmm….).  With the glycerin still in tact, your skin will not be stripped of its moisture, and these soaps are perfect for those with sensitive skin – even babies. Another thing I love about Hen & Chicks is that one bar of soap lasts much longer than regular soaps.
Treat yourself today with handmade soap, and you won’t want to go back! πŸ™‚

Also, I’m giving away a bar of Lemony Lavender Castile to one lucky reader, courtesy of Hen & Chicks Soap!  To enter, fill out the form below:
*Giveaway ends next Wednesday {Feb. 1st} at midnight.  *U.S. and Canada participants only please.*

Thanks for mentioning about Hen & Chick soap. I love handmade soaps, because you can tell the quality from the first time you use them. Also REAL soap will not crack when it’s dry…and most of those bars you buy at the store, that are called soap, are really detergent bars. There’s a huge difference… πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Natural is better when it comes to soap. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather πŸ™‚
