Home Remedies For Arthritis

Ouch…arthritis.  Arthritis can be a very hard thing to live with.  It doesn’t have to be permanent though, and you DON’T have to live with it!!!  Natural remedies are much better than medicines with side effects, at least in my opinion. ๐Ÿ™‚
*I personally recommend doing all of these remedies listed below to be rid of arthritis!
Remedies:
*Take an apple cider vinegar tonic at least twice a day.  This is 2 tsp. of RAW apple cider vinegar in 8 oz. of water (can add a tsp. or two of honey for better taste if desired).  Drinking this apple cider vinegar mixture daily can alone remove all pain and signs of arthritis.
*Also, soak the arthritic body part in a hot solution of apple cider vinegar for ten minutes, 2-3 times a day.  Mix 1/4 cup ACV with 1 1/2 cups of water to make this solution.  You can also make a fomentation by soaking a cloth in this mixture and placing over the area.  You want to keep this poultice warm by placing a heating element on top or soaking the cloth in the hot solution and reapplying when it has cooled.  Again, leave this on for 10 minutes 2-3 times a day.
NOTE:  This vinegar has to be raw.
~Don’t know where to buy raw apple cider vinegar?  This is my favorite!~
*Cayenne is another powerful remedy for arthritis.  Mix cayenne and castor oil together until a good spreadable consistency.  Place on aching area and wrap overnight.  Repeat every night until pain is completely gone.  A mild case may take a few months to heal, while a severe case could take up to a year to completely heal.  This is my favorite store to buy a good quality, effective & powerful cayenne.
*As always, be sure you eat healthy!  Work towards making your diet at least 50% raw and avoid sugar and processed foods as much as possible.
Be consistent with these remedies and be well on your way to a pain-free life!

I keep hearing so much about ACV. What is in that stuff that makes it so powerful? I’m intrigued because it is so inexpensive and readily available that I want to make good use of it!

@Kasey – Raw ACV contains living enzymes – I’ll have to do a post just about the vinegar. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just curious, do you have RA? Or is it just regular arthritis this seems to help? I make my own raw ACV so I will be trying this, as I do have RA and have had very little relief from all the shots and drugs.

I’ve suffered from RA for 10 years and the last 2 years have been debilitating. Most autoimmunity issues begin in the gut so I’ve been addressing this with food and probiotics.. What’s been helping me with the pain is taking a bath using 1 cup acv, 1/2 cup activated charcoal, 1/2 cup Epsom salt, and 1/2 cup of borax. Borax has boron which is essential for bones. Epsom provide magnesium which is great for bones, too. Acv helps relief the pain. Activated charcoal releases the toxins in your body which causes RA. I take a bath with these twice a day. Plus for drinking water, I add himalyan salt and borax and drink 12 cups a day. Must be warm so body can absorb it better. I think my Rza is gone but now I’m suffering gout and this has relieved my gout pain..in the areas that hurt, make a poultice of activated charcoal and ground flax seed and add just enough water till it gels up. Place on a semi wet paper towel and the painful area and wrap with plastic wrap Leave on for few hours and or over might. Pain goes away completely..It may take a few days but it works miracles. This poultice had gotten rid of my gout pain on my foot when I was experiencing level 10 pain. The baths and poultice combination work amazingly. Also vitamin D is essential for bone health. I take 5000k a day and sit in sun for 15 to 30 minutes. Hope this helps.ps read about activated charcoal and how it has cured so many ailments. I’m going to taking internally too.
