I am so blessed to have the Versatile Blogger Award given to Jill’s Home Remedies by the following lovely ladies:

  • Deep Roots At Home ~ Enriching the Soil of Your Life
  • Heroines Of The Faith ~ Musings for Mothers and Maidens of all ages…Inspired by the Book of Hebrews, Chapter 11
  • Ramblings Of A Happy Homemaker ~Tips, Recipes, Natural Cleaners, Home decorating projects and Tales from my life.
Thank you, ladies.  I am truly honored to receive this!!!
This award is given with some rules:
  • Thank the award giver and link back to them in your post
  • Share 7 random things about yourself
  • Nominate 5 fellow bloggers for the award and let them know about it

Here are the 7 random things about me:

1. I accepted Jesus as my Savior at the age of 6.  Good works, baptism, church membership, etc. would never be enough; only my repentance and faith in Jesus has made me a new person.
2. I love history and antiques – especially the 1800’s time period.  I really enjoyed visiting the Laura Ingalls Wilder Farmhouse this past summer.  I also visit old homes and mansions from time to time – love it!!!
3.  I am not as organized as I would like to be, and have to consistently work on getting rid of things I don’t need and finding a better place for the things I do need. πŸ™‚
4. I’m an introvert by nature and can act more myself when I’m one-on-one with someone. πŸ™‚
5. I play the flute in my church’s small orchestra.
6. I’m a worrier by nature and am working on trusting more.
7. I love to read.  My ideal vacation is spent anywhere snuggled up with my husband reading – as long as I’m with my husband.  πŸ™‚

Though there are many more blogs that I love, I am passing the Versatile Blogger Award on to:

 (in alphabetical order)

  1. Lori at Always Learning
  2. Jasmine at Far Above Rubies
  3. Angela at Hidden Treasures
  4. Sarah at Stand By Faith
  5. Richele at Under the Golden Apple Tree

*Thank you, ladies, for inspiring and blessing me*
