I like to make everything in my house sparkling clean – including my toilet! Lime deposits from water can cause brown rings in your toilet bowl that are extremely difficult to remove, and embarrassing to leave. Use the easy recipe below to get rid of these unsightly stains!
- Sand Paper
- Place about 1/2 cup (or more, depending on how many stains there are) of Borax in a bowl and add enough vinegar to make a thick paste. Place the paste on all the stains and leave for 15 minutes. To clean stains at the bottom of the toilet bowl, turn the water off that connects to the toilet and flush until all water is gone. Place the Borax paste on these stains also. Note: This paste hardens quickly, so be sure to put it on the toilet stains immediately after you mix it.
The last thing you need is some good elbow grease – grab a sheet of sandpaper and scrub away at the stains until completely gone.
