Learning Herbs and Health: My Recommendations

Several people have contacted me desiring herbal and health resources.
How can you learn to doctor your family at home and keep them healthy?
Where do you start?
Below are some of the resources I recommend.  I know I will add to the list from time to time as I find yet another book to learn from.  Collecting health and herbal books is a hobby for me.  I can never have too many of them.  Each health book has beneficial information and I love learning knew things about health and wellness.
I still have a lot to learn.

Below are my current favorites!

  • I first started my herbal learning from the Bulk Herb Store by watching Shoshanna Easling’s YouTube videos and reading her articles.  Click here to receive the Bulk Herb Store’s free weekly e-newsletters filled with great herbal info, plus Shoshanna’s newest video!
  • Making Herbs Simple DVD Set

  •  Learning Herbs:

Free herbal ecourse.

  • Herbal Home Health Care

  • Practical Herbalism

  •   Be Your Own “Doctor”

  • The Green Pharmacy

      • The Green Pharmacy Herbal Handbook

Some of you have also asked me about becoming a certified herbalist.  I received a certificate from the School of Natural Healing.  I chose this school because they offer good material and the best price I found for becoming a certified family herbalist.

You can learn much on your own and it is not necessary at all to become an herbalist, but if you would like to take your learning a step further, then consider it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I always share that I am not religiously affiliated with The School of Natural Healing.  I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, and the beliefs of the school are contrary to mine.  Although they do NOT teach you specifics about their religion, I feel the need for this disclaimer.

The good news is, if you would like to become a Certified Family Herbalist through The School of Natural Healing, they offer $100 off your enrollment if you enroll through my website! ๐Ÿ™‚
