Thats a nice article. I also wanted to add that Lemon is a wonderful way to decrease nausea. Lemon with its content of Vitamin C enables you to increase the level of immunity and with the smell of Lemon itself can make things more comfortable for people who are suffering from nausea. An excellent recipe would be lemon added to Hot water boiled with a bit of ginger and sugar.
This remedy has proven to be great for people who have cold too as ginger can remove the congestion and lemon with the sugar adds up to the taste and Nausea is a thing of the past.

Hi Jill, when using the charcoal slurry for a 3-4 yo, I am assuming I can cut the dose from 1 tablespoon to 1 teaspoon maybe three times a day in water??? Just checking as I don’t want to underdose or overdose. Thanks so much!!

Or in applesauce, perhaps? She has texture issues 🙂
Jill says
It would be fine to stir it into applesauce, but again, make sure she drinks a cup of water afterwards.

I think that’s a good amount for that age. That’s about how much I give my 4 year old. Make sure she drinks another cup of liquid after taking the charcoal so it doesn’t cause constipation.

Dear Jill
I found your website when searching for natural remedies for nausea. I suffer from Sjögren’s syndrome which is an incurable autoimmune disease that affects the mucus membranes. So as you can imagine, it involves pretty much anything. I have gastro paresis as a result of my disorder and because of the delayed enjoying of my stomach, I have chronic nausea, vomiting and bloatng. Today is a particularly bad day when I can’t even drink fluids without feeling just horrible. I just tried the ginger honey lemon mix and feel some immediate relief. Wow…I wanted to thank you for sharing your knowledge and express my gratitude! God bless you!
Sincerely,
Janel
