How To Relieve Sinus Congestion With Essential Oils | Jills Home Remedies | Relieve the misery of sinus congestion with these powerful essential oils!

Having your sinuses congested might make you feel miserable, but you don’t have to stay that way! I’m going to show you how you can quickly relieve sinus congestion with the power of healthy essential oils!

Have you ever had your sinuses congested so badly that you couldn’t breathe in or out of your nose? Not only that, but they were so completely stopped up that you could hardly swallow? Just try swallowing while holding your nose really tightly and you’ll see how difficult it is.

That’s the predicament I was in a few weeks ago and I had a tough time even resting because of it. Everything was completely stopped up. I grabbed a few essential oils and was able to clear my congestion considerably in just a few minutes!

 Here’s how to do it.

How To Relieve Sinus Congestion With Essential Oils

Ingredients

2 drops eucalyptus essential oil (buy here)
2 drops rosemary essential oil (buy here)
2 drops peppermint essential oil (buy here)
2 drops thyme essential oil (buy here)

Directions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Pour into a pan or bowl.
  3. Add essential oils to water and stir.
  4. Drape a towel over your head and hold head over the steaming bowl.
  5. Inhale vapors deeply for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Repeat as needed.

What I did was breathed the vapors deeply for about 3 minutes, took a break for a minute or two, and then repeated the essential oil steam for another 3 minutes or so and took a break, etc. until my sinuses were clear. This so greatly relieved my congestion so that I could breathe again!

I repeated this procedure throughout the day if I got stuffy again. It is necessary to make a whole new pan of essential oil steam if you repeat later in the day as the essential oils vaporize into the air and do not stay potent in the pan of water.
