Whole Wheat Banana Bread

I’m sharing this yummy recipe that I got from my friend, Angela, at
Hidden Treasures.

3 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1tsp baking Soda
1 tsp Sea Salt
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

In medium bowl mix above dry ingredients.

1 1/2 Cups Raw Sugar
 1/2 Cup Apple Sauce
4 Egg Whites
4 Large Over-Ripe Bananas
1/2 Cup Milk
2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans (or chocolate chips)

In large bowl, mix sugar, apple sauce, egg whites, bananas, milk, vanilla.  Stir in flour mixture.  Fold in nuts or chocolate chips.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour.  The bread is finished when a knife inserted comes out almost clean.  Makes 2 loaves.  Can also make muffins!  You can, of course, use regular ingredients (like white flour, regular salt and sugar).  The ingredients mentioned just make it healthier!  I think the bread tastes good with all wheat flour, but you can even use half white & half wheat to make it a little healthier.  Enjoy! 🙂

Here’s a picture of my results ~ yummy! 🙂

It's a good idea to plant them right before a rain so the rain can help spread and germinate the spores.
