In case you haven’t noticed, God made men and women different – very different.
The physical differences between men and women are obvious, but it’s easy for us to forget the vast difference between men and women in the way we think and interpret what we hear or observe.
In his book Love and Respect, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs calls it seeing through “blue and pink sunglasses”. Men see through blue sunglasses; women see through pink sunglasses.
Let me give you an example from Love and Respect:
Imagine it’s a couple’s wedding anniversary.
Husband stops at the store to buy his wife a card.
He finds a card that says something like….
I fall in love with your laugh, which is better than music….
