Making Vegetables

Spring is here and gardening is on the agenda at my house!  Among my favorite gardening books is the Bulk Herb Store’s Making Vegetables!  This garden book is unlike any of the other books I have, and very unique in its helpful information.

Making Vegetables Volume 1 contains:

  • Greenhouse basics and greenhouse alternatives, with specific instructions on how to build your own greenhouse.
  • Starting seeds, transplanting seedlings, and growing plants.
  • Specific planting instructions on growing spring vegetables.

rhubarb

  • Controlling pests with safe bug spray recipes
  • How to make a hot box, garden box, hillside garden, and green bean bamboo teepee
  • Building healthy soil, including fertilizer recipes
  • Gardening advice from 6 gardening experts
  • Yummy food recipes using spring plants!

My favorite thing about this book is that it doesn’t only have excellent gardening information to aid me in being a better gardener {God knows I need the help!}, but the book is full of beautiful photos walking me through step by step, which is a huge help to my visual learning style.

The Bulk Herb Store is graciously giving away a Making Vegetables Volume 1 book to one of my readers!

Enter below!  Giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents.

I have been following Bulk Herb Store for a while – all the products look wonderful. I’m most interested in learning more about natural home remedies for minor illness and maladies. Tinctures and salves are where I’d like to start 😉
